DIAC / DILAC is today one of the top ranked amateur tournaments in the Nordic region and in 2009 we celebrated our ten year anniversary. It is an international amateur tournament, and every year we have had participants from across Europe. Danish International Amatuer Championship is a tournament for men, where the qualification requirement normally is a + hcp. Danish International Ladies Amateur Championship is a tournament for ladies, where handicap requirement is normally at maximum 4.5.

It has always been an ambition for Silkeborg Golf Club to create one of the best amateur tournaments in order to provide the young aspiring players the opportunity to test the relative strength equal of a European tour. Therefore, we try every year to create the best environment for players, with shuttle service, advertising on the course, television footage, great prizes where the winner of both men's and ladies' will get a wild card for a tournament on the European tour.
