Short Game Shoot Out 2010

Again this year Danish International Amateur Championship are hosting the Short Game Shoot Out.
It is meant as a social event for the players and as an exciting event for the spectators. The spectators have the opportunity to see some of the most difficult shots in golf.
All the participants in Danish International Amateur Championship can participate in this competition. There will not be different conditions for men and women.

Of all the participants in the Short Game Shoot Out, 6 players will reach the final. All participants starts of by hitting one shot from approximately 80 meters. The finalist are the 6 players closest to the flag and on the green.

One club member wins a wild card and joins the 6 qualified players in the final. The shoot out is played from 4 different positions with 3 shots from each player to 1 pinplacement 3 meters from front of green.
It makes a total of 18 different shots to each finalist. Each shot is valued by points, defined by accuracy. Just one perfect shot, can turn it all around.
